2014 OSTA Taekwondo Poomsae Seminar
As a means to improve the overall quality of Oklahoma Poomsae competitors, the OSTA sponsored a free seminar at the US Central Taekwondo Association main gym on July 12th. Congratulations to all who attended and took this opportunity to improve themselves and their schools!
OSTA President, Great Grandmaster In Hui Won stated, “My hope is to improve the quality and consistency of Oklahoma’s forms competitors through more seminars.”
Grandmaster Hak Jin Kim, International forms champion and OSTA Referee Chairman, led the seminar of over 60 participants going over details of each Taeguek and black belt form through Chonkwon. Each participant received an OSTA Certificate of Participation.
USAT Taekwondo Referee Seminar
April 5, 2014 Referee Seminar was a great success!! The seminar was led by Master Seung Hwan Kim, who is the USAT Vice Referee Chairman and an International Referee. Each of the 25 attendees worked hard throughout the long day to learn the latest rules. Be sure to thank them for their service at the OSTA National Qualifier Championship on April 26, 2014.
